DAILY PRAYER NUGGETS (Wednesday 11th January 2023)
Psalm 16:4-5
Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips. Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.
Those who worship idols and carved images forsake the grace of God. Lord you are the invisible God that dwells in an unapproachable light. Your foundation of your throne is holiness. We approach your throne today with confidence because in Christ you have brought us near to yourself. Blessed are you Lord and beautiful for all situations. Our voices will not relent to shout your praises and exalt your holy name. You deserve the glory and thanks for your indescribable love for us. Alleluya !!!
Judges 15:14
As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands.
Anoint me O Lord and empower me this season to proclaim good news to the poor in spirit and bring them to the knowledge of the truth. I decree freedom for those who are prisoners of the devil and recovery of sight for the spiritually blind in the name of Jesus. All those who are oppressed be set free and enter into the season of the Lord’s favor. From your lofty height O Lord, bless those that look up to you and may fresh fire of the Holy Spirit fill my life this season. By the reason of this encounter with the Spirit of God, may I enjoy great exploits in all spheres of life in Jesus name. Praise the Lord !!!
