PRAYER NUGGETS( Tuesday 22nd August 2023)

Numbers 6:22-25
The Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you.”

PRAISE
In your goodness, O Lord, you provide water for
us in desert places, and springs to flow upon our hard places. Your ways are too wonderful; blessed are those who know your name and walk in your ways. You chose us out of the nations because of your covenant with Abraham, through whom you promised that all nations shall be blessed. We praise you, O God, for the outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon those you chose. Our souls have been refreshed, and our spirits renewed by your Spirit. You are worthy of our praise. O God, for the manifold blessings and unmerited favour we have enjoyed in our relationship with you. To you, O Lord, be all the glory forever and ever. Amen!!!

2 Kings 17:14-15
But they would not listen and were as stiff-necked as their ancestors, who did not trust in the Lord their God. They rejected his decrees and the covenant he had made with their ancestors and the statutes he had warned them to keep. They followed worthless idols and themselves became worthless. They imitated the nations around them, although the Lord had ordered them, do not do as they do.

INTERCESSION
Others may not trust in the Lord our God, but I will put my faith in Him. I receive great grace today to walk in obedience to your commands O, Lord, and reject the attractions other gods offer. I will never follow after worthless idols but will keep faith with my Saviour, though the earth quake and the mountains give way, my faith in you O Lord shall not be shaken in the name of Jesus. The prince of this world hardens the hearts of men and women to hinder them from walking in your statutes, but I have chosen to walk in your ways. I receive the Holy Spirit’s power not to conform to the pattern of this world but to daily walk in righteousness to the glory of God. Thank you, Jesus!!!

God bless you, and thanks for praying.
