PRAYER NUGGETS( Saturday 26th August)

Numbers 11:1-2
Now, the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when he heard them, his anger was aroused. Then, fire from the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. When the people cried out to Moses, he prayed to the Lord, and the fire died down.

Praise/Worship
Our God is a consuming fire and deserves to be feared and held in high honour. Lord, you destroy your enemies with your fire but empower your servants with the same. You are great and greatly to be praised. Those who dishonour and disobey you are doomed to face your wrath. We who know your name and the glory due to you will reverence your name forever. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but because of your love for us, we will draw near to you in worship. In spite of the greatness of your might, your tenderness of heart is still being felt in our daily lives. We will never cease to remember your salvation and acknowledge your redemptive work in our lives. Receive eternal praise from us, O Lord, now and always in Jesus’ name. Alleluya!!!

Deuteronomy 1:29-30
Then I said to you, “Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them.” The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes.

Intercession
Lord, because you live, I can face tomorrow. All fear is gone, for I know you are the one that holds my tomorrow. I am confident that by the victorious blood of Jesus, I shall not be overcome by wicked adversaries but shall wear the garment of victory in celebration. Father deliver me from the spirit of fear and despondency. I receive the spirit of boldness and sound mind in my daily walk with you. As promised, O Lord, may your presence go before me to make every crooked way straight and flatten all walls of Jericho standing in my way. Thank you, Lord, for the support you give the righteous in Jesus’ name.

God bless you, and thanks for praying.
