DAILY PRAYER NUGGETS (Friday 28th April 2023)

Psalm 113:3-5
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high.

Our God truly sits enthroned on high. He is the highest God, the One that has no equal. The gods of the heathens are the works of men’s hands, but our God is God from eternity to eternity. Nothing was created that was not created by Him. His praise fills the heavens and the earth for His mighty works. Nothing is too hard for Him. The seas and mountains are tamed in His presence, and the wilderness trembles at His voice. Let’s join all creation in acknowledging this great God and sing praises to His holy name. His name is our strong tower; He secures us in time of trouble and shields us from ungodly fire. We cannot thank you enough, O gracious God, for the manifold goodness you bestow on all who love you. Lord, we give you all the glory and honour due to you. Praise the Lord!!!

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

The Psalmist said: I have been young, but now I am old. In all my life, I have never seen the Lord forsake the righteous nor his seed begging bread. Our God knows the way that I follow daily, and His eyes are on the steps that I take. He is the beginning and the end and will surely work out His purpose for my life. Lord, I surrender my life and let go control of my destiny. I lay them down for you to work out your will and purpose. Surely you will bring me to your expected end. O, Lord. Your steadfast love will work in my favour
and your faithfulness will accomplish every desire that I have. I need your presence every hour, for without you, I am bound to stumble or fall. Be thou near me O Lord for without you I can do nothing. Praise the Lord.

God bless you, and thanks for praying.
